Channel display
The Channel display is a tab located in the Radio display. It indicates continuously the servo positions transmitted from the connected radio.
Enable the Channel display by checking Radio display in the menu Radio or press the <F8>-key.
You may use this information for testing the results of the Calibrate center function or to help assigning the channels:
- While centered, all functions should display a value of 0% ±4% on the related channel. Moving sticks and proportional channels to the various maximum positions should produce values of ±100% ±4%. In some cases it may be necessary to adjust the end positions in your radio software. Please refer to end-point-adjustments or center modifications (Center, trim, sub-trim).
- Switches produce a center position only as a 3-position switch (position 1 - off - position 2). A 2-position switch (on - off) will generate -100% and +100% Switches can be used for landing gear or autorotation.
- If you move any stick or proportional channel, the channel reaction should refer to one channel only. Most of the typical mixers for aircraft and helicopters are not recommended to use.
The channel display of previous versions (up to 5.06.3) can still be called with
<Shift><F8> . Up to 2 channels can there be modified using the sliders in the channel display window. This is very useful if you are using a 4-channel radio and want to use the landing gear or flaps function. You may use your mouse or cursor keys to control these channels.
