Join flight convention
This dialog allows you to join an existing flight convention:
To join a flight convention as a guest, you have to choose one first. To make this descision a little bit easier, the list in the upper area of the dialog provides you with some information:
Description: The flight convention name. A convention with an appended [p] symbol is protected by a password.
Scenery: The location where the convention takes place.
Connection: Displays the connection type to this convention.
Internet: The convention can be joined over an internet connection.
LAN: The convention is reachable over a local area network. No internet connection is needed to join a LAN convention.
User: The number of pilots, which have joined the convention.
To get more overview if a large number of flight conventions are listed, simply restrict the list to coventions which are matching your currently selected scenery. To do this, activate the checkbox Filter for presently selected scenery.
After clicking on a convention entry, the associated pilots and their models are listed in the lower area of the dialog. Now your own pilot needs a name. You can choose between taking the preset or type a devised name into the Your user name textfield.
By checking the lower checkbox you must confirm that you agree to the processing of your personal data. For more information about your legal rights and the information concerned, click Show Privacy Policy.
By clicking on the Join button, you will be connected to the selected convention:
If the connection is established, the flight convention state is displayed in the lower left corner of the REFLEX application window:
Now you can start the simulation as usual, and become a part of the happening.

If the model of another convention member is not installed on your computer, a dummy model is displayed instead.
Note:
On flight conventions, a free starting place is assigned to your model automatically. Thus it is possible that your model is placed a few meters beside the actual selected starting position, if the original spot is occupied by another model.Note:
The REFLEX Multiplayer mode uses special IP ports for network communication. If you encounter any problems while using a router or a firewall, try to setup the following rules:
